You did not achieve this remarkable feat all by yourself- Cos there were many others before you, whose labour of diligent industry and sacrifice provides the quintessential foundation for all your outstanding social, political and economic achievements. For which your being loving memory lies forever fossilized in the collective psyche of the whole world;
Men such as the late t. Huston mills, Kojo Thompson, Paa-Grant, R.S. Blay, Akufo Addo, J.B. Danquah, e. O. Obetsebi Lamptey, Archie Casely hayford, Paa Wille, Nii Kwabenya Bonney, Kojo Botsio, Ako Adjei, King Kweku Ackah, J E. Kwegyir, Nii Armar Ollenu, sir Edward Asafu-Adjaye, Nana, Sir Ofori-Atta, Michael Dei Annang, James Aryee Addo and others-
Arguably among the topmost intellectual elites of that era and generation, true seasoned and experienced, politicians freedom fighters and pan Africanist. Of uncompromisable conviction and patriotic, fervour cut in the same kindred mould as yourself to lead the then gold coast from proverbial Egyptian bondage into the liberty of the Utopian Canaan... of freedom.
Today, history has vindicated the good judgement of the undefeatable Ako Adjei who recognised in you the oratorical ideo – intellectual and organisational ability and prowess to lead the gold coasts struggle against Anglo- colonialism and imperialism...
You who first exposed the blunt pretentions and hypocrisies of the UGCC ideo intellectual leaders elites who recruited your professional services into the cause of our sovereign nationhood- you who looked the ex-colonial masters in the face.
To demand unconditional freedom, for all your African people, defying all their manifold pressures of executive coercion / repression and intimidation. Both from within as well as without to achieve the defined ends, for which the gold coast had fought so hard form the bond of 1844, onto your triumphal entry, into our fateful struggle for sovereign nationhood.
Though your avowed opponents and deterrents continue to denounce your memory for all kinds of spurious reasons your works and achievements nevertheless speak in correctable volumes of service, industry, visionary leadership and selfless sacrifice-
Such that it is even fair, right and true to say that our Ghana would never have been without you, O they derailed, reframed, insulted and lambasted you. Even going on with equally diabolic assassination and bomb-throwing attempts to freeze and destroy your good works, for the larger good of Mother Ghana , all of these perpetual reminders to Ghanaian of your glorifies memory!!!
So now we understand what you meant when you declared that “Nkrumah never dies”, in pure enlightened realisation of your divine immortalisation into the exalted pantheon of the saints and national heroes.
Whose footprints stand forever fossilized in the sands of our national history and politics..o Osagyefo i.e. deliverer, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah – godfather of the theory of dialectical materialism- ardent pan Africanist and founding father of “the non-aligned movement” man that fiercely safeguarded and secured the independence and sovereignty of the third world at the height of the erstwhile “cold war.
However could any right-thinking Ghanaian ever compare yourself with the likes of far lesser politicians like J.B. Danquah or K.A. Busia whose names though widely known here in Ghana. Are virtually little known or unknown outside the geographical borders of Ghana and Africa?
And whichever Ghanaian intellectual ideologue or politician.
In the entire annals of our national, history and politics, has ever written such thought provoking books and political literature as yourself- Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah (aka Francis Kofi Nwiah) to define, advocate, illuminate and elucidate the living values and ideals for which you lived, fought and died.
All of your blessed glorified life?
Yea true heroes are not just born they are also made out of their own diligent
Self-will, labour and industry, but you , our revered Osagyefo were born” as well as made”, and that is in the major difference between yourself and the Danquah-Busias.
Of our national history and politics, so a very happy centenary – to you for all the fruits of your lifelong struggle that we all enjoy today so many, many years after your fateful death “FOREWARD EVER, BACKWARDS NEVER” AND YEA “IT IS INDEED OUT OF TENSION THAT BEING IS BORN SURELY “NKRUMAH NEVER DIES”
